Maine's business and higher education finance agency, FAME supports the start up, expansion and growth of plans of Maine's business community by working closely with the lending community to improve access to capital, and to help fill gaps that may exist in the State's capital delivery system.

FAME, in accordance with the Finance Authority of Maine Act, established a secondary market program where lenders, in the state of Maine, are permitted to sell the FAME-insured portions of loans they originate.
